Hi All!

It is that time again for… 🍀🥳 MARCH MADNESS!! 🥳🍀And I mean that in several ways.. Not only is this month chock full with f’ing-funtastic(tm) events,

BEGIN Soapbox AND Flame Rant

This month also has additional/ongoing family fuckery to go with it causing me stress & angst about if I was even going to make it to my ongoing paid commitments.  It’s now the SECOND ROUND of fuckery that has cost me to modify and drop plans for an epic event. This one tacks on an additional $400+ and a lost day including missing 5k event. Just glad I can make it to the marathon and keep my loyalty status. And why did this happen? Details in the ongoing fuckery report. Going to have to keep up diligent communication to see when I can expect then next round of <🖕🖕🖕 fuck you and your plans🖕🖕🖕>. Note that this rant is far from my usual casual mode which allows me to take a positive approach, however when it come to actions that seem completely inconsiderate and can be interpreted as disrespectful then my usual demeanor is disrupted and the rants begin.  So with that over, lets move on to some slightly better news..

Taji 100 (now known as GWOT 100). this year was also a challenge to get any significant distance since I was involved with ongoing family home care. I thought that getting to the 100 mark would be a struggle but it turned out better than expected. By no means was a banner month but not bad considering. Stats for that below. Unfortunately I am unable to log the miles since the new web portal won’l allow it. 🙁 Probably my last round with that one. Will need to final another February monthly challenge for next year.

As previously mentioned, (like anyone ever looks at this site – LOL!) there are now two calendars to the right. The top calendars are for  the events that are nailed down and/or registration has been completed. The second is an informational calendar for options that I may register or save for a later year. If the event in the lower calendar is green chances are I will be signing up soon and has a 85%+ chance of getting migrated as an event.

Now that the new year has been set in motion with an epic accomplishment I plan on keeping it going and making it another super adventurous and record setting year! This includes an entry to the 🍀 Ireland Marathon!! 🍀🎉 As I’ve mentioned on previous revisions of this page the list of upcoming plans can be found on JB’s Fun tracker for 2026

Hopefully I can maintain my conditioning in order to accomplish a full year of even more amazing adventures! Don’t miss the new and exiting ongoing possibilities by checking the Crazy Hike List to see what’s been added and scheduled (hopefully I’ll get a chance to get back to this).

Training still remains tricky due to ongoing home care but getting a bit better 🙂

What’s Next?

  • For the tech stuff the church-of-miles site will be coming out at some point. Plans are to hook it up to a social media page and get some yatra events going! 🙂
