Hi All!

Welcome to the End of July update! It was a productive month overall, Still dealing with home care logistics so glad to get out and do what I can, Hope to find ways to keep things going with the ongoing challenges. Completed the Dirty Dozen 12 hour endurance event and nailed my goal. It was a bit of a motivational struggle since there were last minute issues for the weekend coverage and it made an impact on my general focus. However, even with that I was able to get a second place AG with a total of 40 miles. I wanted to keep things a bit lower on the mileage since I have another big event kicking next weekend and the start of August.

So with that as a segue, the next big event is the Extraterrestrial Full Moon 51k (Since the course is near Area 51) on the Extraterrestrial Highway starting in Rachel NV.  I’ve made sure to let my college Agent Smith aware of my shenanigans.

Simmering Stuff:

  • For the tech stuff the church-of-miles site will be coming out at some point. Plans are to hook it up to a social media page and get some yatra events going! 🙂
  • Also plans on giving the main site for basswake.net some overdue attention
